Day 14: Liverpool Sucks

There's really only one thing I can say that sums up my Saturday:

Tottenham 2, Liverpool 1.

Best record in the league (Liverpool) going down to the worst record in the league (Tottenham). Oh yeah, that's right -- COME ON YOU SPURS! With this victory Tottenham moved up two places with a bullet, and if all goes as expected, Tottenham will not be relegated to the 2nd division. It's a great day to be a Tottenham fan!

I watched the game from a local pub, where most everyone was rooting for Liverpool. But those of us that were Tottenham fans cheered loudly for our club when we tied the score at 1-1, and even more so when we went up 2-1 with about a minute to play. WHAT A WIN!

Really, my day was solely devoted to watching Tottenham. I slept in late, and didn't do anything other than walk to the pub. As I write this I'm back in my flat enjoying all the sports channels talking about how amazing Tottenham have been this past week, and I've discovered that I really like a beer called John Smith's. After three of them I didn't care much who won, but luckily my side pulled it off.

Oh, and I had dinner at a place called "Harlem", which claims to sell "soul food from New York". I don't really believe it. All they really do is serve overpriced English food under the guise of American soul food. Oh well. Here's a picture from "Harlem" (sorry it's so blurry)...

That's it for a Saturday night. Have a good weekend, everyone.
